HyberGaming Website Redesign
Game UI/UX Design @ Bitus Labs
Crafting a clearer digital identity to bridge AI innovation and game development ✨
Bitus Labs operates across both AI and game development, but the original website merged these areas into one platform, making the company’s focus unclear.
By my second month at the company, I began working on the website redesign as part of my responsibilities. I quickly learned the business, clarified the brand positioning, and improved the overall structure and usability.
I redesigned and restructured the entire website experience. The new HyberGaming website emphasizes clarity, creativity, and immersion.
Project
📄 Overview
Bitus Labs is a multidisciplinary company operating across both AI and game development. The original website merged these areas into one experience, creating confusion around the company’s focus, while stakeholders noted the design felt outdated.
👥 Stakeholders
I worked closely with product managers and developers to align on features and technical constraints. Through regular feedback and iteration, we ensured the design was both feasible and consistent across platforms.
Problem
⚡ The Challenge
How might we redesign the Bitus Labs website to clearly communicate its dual focus on AI and game development while improving overall usability and visual appeal?
The original website blended two distinct business areas into a single experience, leading to unclear messaging and confusion around the company’s identity. In addition, stakeholders felt the visual design was outdated and no longer aligned with the company’s evolving direction.
The challenge was to create a more structured and cohesive website that clearly defines the company’s positioning, improves content hierarchy, and delivers a modern, trustworthy user experience.
Design Process
📚 Research
Before starting the redesign, I conducted a series of research activities to understand how visitors perceived the original Bitus Labs website and what caused confusion in communicating HyberGaming’s identity
I interviewed our internal staff, including developers, marketers, and recruiters — to identify pain points from both internal and external perspectives.
📊 Competitive Analysis
To position HyberGaming as a recognizable and trustworthy game studio, I conducted a competitive analysis of leading studio and publisher websites, including
📊 Research Insights
Through competitive analysis, I found that while many slot games offer strong visuals and engaging gameplay, most lack responsive layouts, leading to inconsistent experiences across devices. This revealed an opportunity for Beach Party to stand out with a fully adaptive interface that ensures consistency and usability across all platforms.
Moodboard
🎮 Playful Visuals
To shape the visual direction, I collected references from modern game studios and interactive entertainment websites that balance energy with trustworthiness.
I explored how color contrast, lighting, and typography can convey both excitement and professionalism — ensuring the site feels playful enough for players yet credible for investors and recruits.
The final direction combines vibrant gradients, soft glows, and subtle motion cues, reflecting HyberGaming’s creative spirit while maintaining the polish expected from a modern studio.
Persona
Layout & Content Structuring
I redesigned the visual system and layout to better communicate HyberGaming’s identity as a game-focused brand. With unclear structure in the original site, I worked with stakeholders to define key content and organize it for clarity.
I explored different layout approaches to balance visual engagement with readability, creating a cohesive and flexible system for showcasing games and brand messaging.
Outcome
🚀 Upcoming Launch
The game will officially launch on April 1st. I’m looking forward to observing real player behavior and sharing insights once it goes live — stay tuned!
Takeaway
📈 Growth & Learnings
Through this project, I strengthened both my UI design skills and my ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team. Working closely with art, engineering, and production helped me better communicate design decisions and present work in a clear, implementation-ready way.
I also improved my Figma workflow by leveraging components, auto layout, and prototyping to work more efficiently and deliver higher-quality results.
Looking back, I identified opportunities to further refine my process, including better file organization, clearer naming conventions, and a more systematic component structure to improve developer handoff and team collaboration.
Final Design 🎮
The final design unifies brand identity and content structure into a cohesive experience, improving clarity, visual consistency, and overall usability while reinforcing HyberGaming’s game-focused positioning.
